Think about the health food aisle at the supermarket. All those supposed healthy options are more likely processed and packaged foods with hidden sugars and other nasties. Rather than eating something with a wrapper emblazoned with health claims, stick to the fresh food sections of the supermarket – meat, dairy and the fresh produce department.

You’re super stressed out
Stress makes our bodies produce a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol causes our body to increase the amount of fat our body stores.
So whether it’s work stress, family dramas or even putting yourself under pressure to make it to the gym on the daily, stress could be stopping you from losing weight.
Your workouts have become monotonous
Our bodies do this great thing where they find balance. Unfortunately, this means the exercise that just melted the kilos from you a few months ago might not be cutting the mustard now your body has become accustomed.
The best way to avoid this and to keep your workouts working for you is to be changing them up constantly. Try a range of different exercises including both cardio, weights and other things like yoga or Pilates.
