The Chefgood Difference

Let’s head back in time for a moment: We started Chefgood in the hopes of shaking up the ready-meal industry. For too long we saw people turn to dodgy, stodgy and unhealthy meals because they were convenient and marketed as a ‘healthy choice’. No thanks!

So we decided to start a meal delivery service with a few key differences. Our meals are made with locally sourced ingredients, they are handcrafted by real-life chefs (meet the team below!) in Melbourne and they are made with whole foods which are GOOD for you.

We didn’t want convenience to trump health or taste, so we created a new style of prepared meals that are always nutritious, delicious and high quality.

At Chefgood we don’t do boring, mass-produced and bland food. We are a restaurant style, meal delivery service that is always offering you something new and exciting – and delivering it right to your doorstep!

So whether you’re looking for an easy way to lose weight, a convenient way to eat delicious meals or to simply try something new, Chefgood is for you.

Knowing the perfect portion size is difficult, that's why we do all the hard work for you. Our meals are calorie controlled, meaning you don't need to worry about how much is too much.

Our chefs hand select produce based on what's in season, what's available locally and what's going to pack a nutritional punch while still tasting delicious.

No Hidden
Sugars

Unlike many prepared meals, you won't find hidden sugars in our meals. The Chefgood philosophy is to provide taste-bud pleasing, minimally processed foods just as nature intended them.

Our hand made meals are prepared with all natural ingredients, no synthetics, nasty additives or fillers make it out of our kitchen.

With over 25 years of food business experience, Michelle strongly believes that high-quality tasty food can and should be healthy and affordable. Michelle spends part of each year in Italy where she finds inspiration for Chefgood from the balance, lightness and seasonality of Italian cuisine.

Renowned Melbourne foodie, Susan is a fine dining chef with over 35 years experience in Melbourne, San Francisco and London. She is a pioneer of prepared meals in Australia focusing on homestyle but high-quality foods for her customers at Lafayette Fine Foods Brighton for over 28 years.

Head Chef

Tim used to cook for A-list celebs at a Michelin starred restaurant on Lake Como in Italy. But he left the glitz and glamour behind to join us at Chefgood. Now you can tell your friends you’ve shared a chef with George Clooney!

What's your favourite Chefgood meal?

Milanese Veal & Vegetable Ragu, Soft Green Polenta... it reminds me of my childhood.

If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza (As long as it doesn`t have pineapple as a topping).

What's a good habit you do on a daily basis?

Drink a coffee with the kitchen team and see how they are doing.

What's a health goal you've set for yourself?

Train and do the the Everest base camp trek (Which is probably never going to happen because I work all the time but who knows).

Caitlin
Senior Nutritionist

Caitlin is a nutritionist, an elite body competition participant and will now also answer to ‘Mum’ if you happen to be her new baby. Let's just say she knows a thing or two about juggling a busy lifestyle while trying to be her healthiest self!

If I had to choose one the Satay Chicken, Sweet Potato & Broccoli Brown Rice.

If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Salmon with home made sweet potato chips and greens.

What's a good habit you do on a daily basis?

I do some sort of exercise daily whether it's going to the gym or taking my dog for a walk.

What's a health goal you've set for yourself?

To practise more mindfulness and stress less.

Hannah is a customer support superstar who is on hand if anything goes awry. Call her weird, but she loves to solve problems. She’s got that Bob the Builder attitude – can she fix it? Yes, she can!

Gnocchi with beef ragu, or Greek Meatballs Saganaki.
