What is F45?
F45 training is a life changing fitness program gaining huge popularity in gyms and exercise studios right around Australia. This combination of high intensity interval training (HIIT) along with cardio and strength work is highly effective at burning fat and building lean muscle in 45 minute functional training sessions – hence the name F45.
F45 classes are a great way to develop lean muscle mass and instigate fat loss, and are designed to burn up to 1000 calories per session.
Participants typically undertake F45 challenges to achieve their weight loss and fitness goals, partaking in F45 classes and diet plans in F45 studios all over Australia.
So how does F45 training work? The focus is on a style of physical activity using multiple joints and muscles in a range of movements simulating everyday activities. Functional training has its roots in the rehabilitation sector, where physiotherapists retrain injured bodies in normal physical activities.
Therefore F45 training may include exercises such as step-ups or squats as these are movements we do in our everyday lives. The result is increased fat loss and greater strength, flexibility and range of movement with more calories burned than in other forms of weight training.
What is the F45 meal plan?
The F45 Challenge meal plan is nutritionally balanced with a good source of complex carbohydrates, good fats, and lean protein, and the meals are in line with F45’s key pillars for good nutrition and good health.
F45-ers who increase their physical activity with three to five F45 classes per week and start on the nutritional daily meal plans find they drop body fat and improve their health and wellbeing quite quickly.
The mouth-watering F45 meal plans are tailored to the nutritional requirements of men (450 calories) and women (350 calories). No more protein shakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! These are diet plans which include breakfast, lunch and dinner, or you may just choose lunch and dinner and prepare your own breakfast. There are 5 day plans or 7 day plans and there are mainstream meals and vegetarian meals.

The Challenge app meals have been created for the F45 program and approved by their nutritionists to ensure they meet the nutritional requirements of the F45 Challenge program. Why?
